Los Angeles employment law lawyers

To take maternity leave that is protected under the FMLA, certain conditions must apply. If you meet these conditions, and your employer denies your request, you may be able to file a claim for a violation of the Act.  To qualify for leave under the FMLA, you must request the leave for certain reasons. For example, if you are expecting:

  1. A new baby
  2. Adopting a child or
  3. Opening your home to a foster child

If your employer denies you this right or denies you the leave you qualify for under the FMLA, you may have the right to file a compensation claim. Contact Los Angeles employment law lawyers at The Kaufman Law Firm.
